The great being is materializing out of a large eye of consciousness at the bottom of the portal. The background grid is made up of golden painted layers of the flower of life and Metatron's cube patterns. These geometries represent the underlying patterns of the universe. The phases of the moon are found in the halo of the multi armed being symbolizing the constant change and cycles found in the natural world . Within the body of the entity one can find the zodiac symbols and the symbols of the 6 planets that were worshiped by ancient civilizations. Behind the central praying hands, in the heart of the being, lies a golden layered flower of life. Emanating out from the heart center are quotes from different wisdom teachers, some of them are legible, while others are encoded in symbolic alphabets.
The piece was largely designed using powers of 2: 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256 along with the numbers 6 and 12. This piece, like all of my art, has many different layers of geometric and number patterns hidden within the ornate design. In addition to being a beautiful wooden sculpture this piece is also illuminated by full color RGB LED strip lights that are embedded around the edge of the portal and within the body of the entity. The lights are remote controlled and can be turned any color, fade rainbow patters, flash, and dimmed. The sculpture really comes alive when the lights are turned on in an otherwise dark room. This intensive design process took countless hours over several months and is by far my most elaborately detailed and largest piece. They are then hand stained or spray painted, puzzle pieced together and glued to form the 17 layer thick sculpture.
I make each one of these sculptures custom for the buyer. We can talk about what colors would look best for the sculpture in its new home, or you can let me improvise and I will come up with a beautiful and unique color scheme for you!
Each piece is made to order! The creation of this sculpture is incredibly complicated and will take several weeks to complete.
